The Track and Field Meet has been postponed until Friday the 13th. Every night the students may have some math homework depending on how well they worked during class. Just a reminder that early dismissal is this Thursday.

Dear Families,
It is hard to believe that Easter Break is just a few short days away. There are a few things to update you all about.
Thursday, April 21st the students have their Love/Hate essay due - majority of the students should already have this assignment complete. They also have a problem solving test. All week the students have been doing a problem a day. We will have one of the problems that they have already done and that will be the one and only question on the test. Thursday is also the last day that students can hand in their Persuasive Essays and their What in the World - Egypt. After Thursday these assignments will not be marked.
May 2nd - The students have their Art - Floorplans of their dream houses due.
May 4th - This is the last day to hand in Health Chapter 3 Lesson 2 and 3. After this date the assignment will not be marked.
May 5th - Students have a French Test. This will only be about regular IR ending verbs. The students will have time to practice and will do an exact version of the test prior to actually writing the exam.
May 6th - Book Report is Due. The students could pick any chapter book that they feel are at their level and pick 6 different projects from a list provided.

Dear Families,
Report cards have gone out and interviews have already begun. We are into the final term of the year already. We are wearing green for St. Patrick's Day and have no school this Friday. Safe travels to our Jazz Band students who are going to Brandon.

Dear Families,
We will be having a busy couple of weeks as report cards are going home March 11, 2011.
We have a French Test - Friday the 4th, a Social Test - Monday the 7th, and Math Tests (7+8) - Tuesday the 8th.
The last day for any overdue assignments is Monday, March 7th. After that late assignments will not be accepted.
The students know exactly what will be on these tests as we went through an extensive review.
The grade 8s will also be going to Raider for a Day at the Regional High School. There should be information concerning this delivered to your mail box at home. They will need to find their own way to the high school and should be there all day.

The students have a big Social project which is due February 13th. There is an expectation that this will be complete before going skiing on the 17th. If you have any questions about this please let me know.

Dear Families,
Wow survivor was something else!!! I have to hand it to the students. They absolutely blew me away with how responsible they can be. Great job!
The students have a Poem to write tonight. It is only a draft. It should be about changing the world.
They also have Health due Wends. Most of the students were able to finish during class time.

Only 2 more days until survivor! Please don't forget that the forms and $25 must come in this week. There is also a KFC lunch which is due this Thurs. but we don't have school so please get it in this Wends.
